TRAVERSE, the annual conference on all-things-corporate-travel-and-spend from TripActions, is returning for its third year this September 29th, 2021.
The travel and tech festival, taking place both virtually and live at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California, celebrates the continued return of corporate travel and spend after a disruptive year in which program managers and road warriors traded in their policy plans and rolling luggage for webinars and webcams.
Now, with aircraft refueled and hotel pillows fluffed, it’s time to dust off that business travel and expense program and return to the humming economy. But the road once traveled isn’t necessarily the same. Months after TripActions built its coronavirus dashboard and business travel continuity became the centerpiece of almost every company’s travel plan, the process of giving an employee a corporate card and sending them on the road isn’t as simple as it used to be. Today’s program manager needs to consider a shifting duty of care landscape, destination restrictions, health passports and sustainability. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
There’s also a massive opportunity on the horizon. As travel and spend managers look to restart corporate programs, many are taking a moment to reassess the value and cost of each component. And whether that result is in moving towards a unified travel and spend platform or simply working with a partner that can fulfill the dynamic duty of care requirements of travel in 2021, many are taking advantage of the restart to get the right puzzle pieces in place.
All of these topics will take the stage at TRAVERSE 21 as leaders from across the entire corporate travel and spend industries come together to talk about what’s important for the community and what’s coming next. TRAVERSE 21 will bring in voices from inside of the TripActions community and outside; those with years of experience managing enterprise corporate travel and those just getting a start.
TRAVERSE 21 will explore critical topics for corporate travel, finance, and procurement leaders, including:
