TripActions is honored and excited to be listed #16 on LinkedIn’s Top Startups 2019!

This is the second consecutive year that TripActions ranked among the top 20 startups listed by LinkedIn.

We’re in great company ranked among other startups that we admire including Peloton, Compass, and DoorDash. Forty percent of the startups also recognized are TripActions customers including Snowflake, Samsara, Away, Lime, Daily Harvest, and Allbirds.

TripActions and its peers are described as the startups that “are growing massively, scrambling industries, shifting talent flows around the world and, often, altering how we work and live.”

LinkedIn’s editors and data scientists considered billions of actions generated by LinkedIn’s 645 million members with a focus on four pillars: employment growth, engagement, job interest and attraction of top talent.

TripActions launched in 2015 with a mission to redefine business travel and power the in-person connections that move business forward.

Valued at $4 billion today, we are dedicated to consistently serving our customers and improving our platform. Our mission starts with our focus on the user — all of them, all of the time — from the traveler to the executive, the EA supporting travelers, the finance, HR, and procurement leaders, and of course the travel program manager.

Our passion for the user drives us to innovate the corporate travel management model, product, service and experience. We believe that you have to build an entire solution and we are harnessing technology to move business travel forward in creative and innovative ways.

Leveraging AI, we’re improving the booking experience and busting the industry average of 60 minutes to book a trip down to an average of just six minutes on TripActions. Coupled with global, proactive 24/7/365 live human support where users get access to support agents in 60 seconds or less, TripActions customers see adoption north of 90% and 93% traveler satisfaction.

“It’s an honor to be named as one of LinkedIn’s top 50 startups for the second year. Our dedication to our customers — all of them, all the time — as well as our mission-driven culture is what truly drives us every day as we continue to grow,” said Ariel Cohen, TripActions co-founder and CEO.

“Thank you to all of our customers and partners for being a part of our family and reimagining business travel alongside us. Thank you to every member of the TripActions family for your dedication, intelligence and energy.”

Our team grew tremendously in the past year with 650 global employees coming onboard, bringing our worldwide headcount over 800. We are nothing without every single member of the TripActions family.

After closing a series D funding round this summer, we celebrated the growth and strength of our global team with TripActions Connections. Every staff member from around the world flew into Palo Alto for 3 days of events, team building exercises, brainstorming sessions and games. Our culture, and taking the time to connect in-person, is a fundamental part of our growth.

And we’re not slowing down. There are more than 80 roles open right now with a particular focus on engineering, product and sales. As the LinkedIn ranking highlights, top talent is looking for opportunities to join TripActions — and we’re ready to hear from you.

We are also hosting the first travel+technology conference this October 2-3 in San Francisco.

TRAVERSE ‘19 is a celebration of all things business travel management with dozens of breakout sessions and conversations around the future of business travel, work, and procurement. Attendees also will hear from TripActions co-founders Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig as well as Ben Horowitz of a16z and Captain “Sully” Sullenberger. As excited and humbled as we are by the recognition, we’re just getting started. Let’s go!
