Amidst the growing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, the TripActions Group is taking steps to drive aid across several initiatives and has suspended business operations in Russia and Belarus—with the exception of evacuation support. Here’s how clients and employees can help.
Donate Unused TripActions Rewards
Clients of the TripActions Group have several options for providing support.
Those that use TripActions to book corporate travel and have opted into the TripActions Rewards Program may donate unused rewards credit directly to Ukrainian relief efforts.
Users that wish to donate a portion of this credit can do so in the Rewards Portal, by selecting the Ukrainian Relief banner. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this campaign will go directly to UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
TripActions, Reed & Mackay, and Comtravo clients can also contribute by donating directly to any of the nonprofit organizations below.
Ukraine Donation Portal
Additional channels for donating funds are available outside of the TripActions. TripActions has hand-selected the organizations listed on this page, which all provide direct support to Ukrainians in need. They are:
Flight and Business Restrictions
Due to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, and in solidarity with the international community, the TripActions Group no longer supports trip bookings to Russia and Belarus—including air, hotel, and car.
Inventory from Aeroflot, the flag carrier of Russia, and S7 have been removed from web and mobile booking experiences; itineraries already booked with the carriers are being updated. TripActions will continue to support evacuations for customers and others at risk.
In partnership with Visa, TripActions will block all transactions in Russia made with a TripActions Liquid card; which will now no longer work in Russia at merchants or at ATMs.
Internal Fundraising
Within the company, TripActions is also helping to drive awareness and raise critical funds. This month, the company opened up an internal portal for employees to donate directly to relief efforts in Ukraine. Employees can also donate annual wellness stipends and milestone gifts, which typically take the form of swag or travel credit.
