We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about testing our mobile and web apps from concept to delivery, with a focus on automation. You will work cross functionally across our R&D team to ensure that TripActions provides an exceptional corporate travel booking experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from web and mobile front end to back end distributed web services. You will have ownership over the quality of major deliverables and will collaborate with multiple engineers and teams to drive success.
- Design and implement Automation tests to increase testing on our platform.
Own the testing in one or more specific areas and drive continuous improvement and innovation in test coverage and test effectiveness
Improve our existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure
Help maintain the CI/CD environments.
Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers to release revolutionary products.
Pair with software engineers to identify and prevent gaps with automation/regression coverage.
Strong Java coding skills to develop and support automation scripts.
3+ years of experience on IOS, Android platforms using Appium or WebDriver/Selenium for web browser testing.
4+ years of experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans/ test cases, and testing distributed web-based applications.
Experience with Jenkins, Github, Maven, TestNG, Xpaths.
Good knowledge of JAVA Collections.
Experience working at a fast pace constantly changing environments.
Strong experience in automated testing practices and tools –Web Services, API testing (Rest), Postman.
Experience with Spring Boot.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
