Junior Accountant

Berlin, Germany

As a Junior Accountant of Financial Reporting, you will be reporting directly to our Accounting Director. You will be hands-on with daily accounting, audit and local compliance requirements. Additionally, you will take over the payment transactions, preparation of month-end closings and be a big part of our implementation process of a new software (NetSuite) for our German market.


What You'll Do:

  • You are responsible for accounts receivable (AR)
  • You also support tasks around the timely preparation of all HGB and US GAAP monthly financial statements 
  • You take over tasks in the area of payment transactions, preparation of month-end closings/account clarification, VAT, credit card reconciliation
  • You are interested in further developing the interfaces for accounting-relevant data and processes 
  • You report to the Director Accounting DACH and you become part of the DACH Accounting Team located in Berlin

What We're Looking For:

Are you an experienced financial expert with a flexible mind? Are you accurate and can you easily connect the dots? Would you like to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment? 

  • You work analytically and very accurately, with attention to detail
  • You are able to structure yourself well and work independently
  • You have very good MS-Office skills
  • At best, you have completed a commercial apprenticeship
  • You have demonstrable practical experience and knowledge in accounting 
  • DATEV and SKR04 knowledge is an advantage
