Director, Investor Relations

The Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for communicating the company's strategy and progress to the investment community. This person will leverage a strong understanding of the investment community, including areas of focus and methods for assessing company value, and will collaborate with executive leadership to advance engagement. This person will craft and articulate a compelling investment rationale and articulate the storyline and talking points for key investor conferences. The role spans strategy development with senior leadership, communication and engagement with the investment community, and insight gathering and analysis. This role will report to the Vice President of Strategic Finance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement and manage a robust investor relations program, designed to drive awareness and build the Company’s long-term brand and valuation
  • Lead the quarterly earnings process, including creating communication materials, earnings releases, call scripts, accompanying presentations, talking points, and relevant Q&A
  • Develop the investor relations outreach strategy to communicate company progress through various forums, such as press releases, investor conferences, and financing events
  • Ensure the executive team is up to date on investor and analyst perceptions of the company and implement any necessary course corrections in messaging or relationship management
  • Maintain strong company and sector expertise, staying current on all company and related industry activity in order to be responsive to investors and the media

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of progressive investor relations experience including in-house investor relations, an investor relations firm, and/or equity research/capital markets
  • Ideally investor relations experience within the Tech or SaaS industry
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can work both independently and collaboratively, often to tight deadlines
  • Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including clear and thorough understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques used by financial and investment professionals
  • Strategic thinker with ability to adapt quickly to a high-growth, fast paced environment
  • Outstanding presentation skills and strong attention to detail
  • IPO experience a plus
